The lid of this piece is covered with a sheet of polymer clay; the design was created using the Mokume Gane technique.
No paint was involved in the process. Patterns were created by imprinting layers of clay; thin slices are them taken from the stack and layered to create this design.
One of a kind, lightweight and waterproof. Perfect for travel or as part of a gift; can hold small jewellery, cards, medications, mints, etc.
